This Privacy Policy describes how TG Benefit Solutions, LLC ("TG Benefit Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. It applies to information collected through our website at tgbenefitsolutions.com, by phone, by email, by text message, and in person at our Clay Center, Kansas office. It also serves as our Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act privacy notice and as the privacy notice required of insurance producers by Kansas (K.A.R. 40-1-46), Missouri (20 CSR 100-6.100), and Nebraska (Neb. Rev. Stat. sections 44-901 to 44-925) law.
Who we are
TG Benefit Solutions, LLC is an independent insurance brokerage located at 521 Grant Ave, Suite D, Clay Center, KS 67432. Trisity Gurney is the owner and licensed insurance producer in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We place health, dental, vision, Medicare, and supplemental insurance for individuals, families, and small businesses. We are not affiliated with, employed by, or endorsed by any federal or state government program, including Medicare or the Health Insurance Marketplace.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to quote, place, service, and renew your insurance coverage and to respond to your inquiries. The categories of information we collect are:
Nonpublic personal financial information
Information you provide on an application, quote request, or other intake form, including your name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, Social Security number, household income, dependents, employment information, and information about your existing insurance coverage.
Nonpublic personal health information
Information you provide in connection with applying for or maintaining health, Medicare, dental, vision, or supplemental coverage, including information about your physical or mental health, medical history, prescription medications, and health care providers. We collect this information only when it is relevant to the product you have asked us to quote or place.
Information from third parties
With your permission or as permitted by law, we may receive information from insurance carriers, the Medical Information Bureau, consumer reporting agencies, and government programs (such as Healthcare.gov or Medicare) to help us quote, place, and service your coverage.
Website information
When you visit tgbenefitsolutions.com our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information in standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and understand at an aggregate level which content visitors find useful. We do not build advertising profiles, share this information with advertising networks, or use it for cross-site tracking.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your questions and provide the products and services you request.
- Prepare quotes, comparisons, and recommendations across the carriers we represent.
- Submit applications and supporting documentation to insurance carriers on your behalf.
- Service, renew, change, or replace your coverage during the policy term and at renewal.
- Communicate with you about your coverage, including reminders of open enrollment periods, renewal notices, and important policy changes.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and requests from regulators.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, and other illegal activity.
How we share your information
We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes. We disclose your information only to the parties below and only as needed to perform the purposes described above, or as otherwise permitted or required by law:
- Insurance carriers and their authorized representatives, to apply for, place, service, or renew the coverage you have asked us to quote.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as our client management software, document storage, email delivery, and text message vendors. These providers are bound by written agreements that require them to keep your information confidential and use it only to provide services to us.
- Regulators and government programs such as state departments of insurance and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, when required by law or in response to a subpoena, court order, audit, or other legal process.
- You, or others you authorize, such as a spouse, adult child, attorney, or accountant, when you have given us written or recorded permission to share information with them.
- In the event of a sale or merger of our business, to the successor entity, subject to the continued protections of this Privacy Policy.
All of these disclosures fall within the exceptions to opt-out notice under 16 CFR sections 313.13, 313.14, and 313.15 and the corresponding state insurance regulations. Because we do not share your information for any purpose outside these exceptions, no opt-out is required for these disclosures and no opt-out is offered. If we ever propose to disclose your information for a purpose outside these exceptions, we will send you a revised notice and a clear opportunity to opt out before any such disclosure occurs.
Health information authorization
Disclosure of your health information beyond what is necessary for the placement, administration, servicing, and renewal of your insurance coverage, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and the other insurance functions specifically permitted by law requires your written or electronic authorization. Any authorization you sign will:
- Identify you as the subject of the information.
- Describe the types of health information to be disclosed.
- Describe the parties to whom the information will be disclosed, the purpose of the disclosure, and how the information will be used.
- Specify how long the authorization is valid, which by law cannot exceed 24 months.
- Tell you how to revoke the authorization at any time.
You may revoke any authorization by sending a written request to the address at the end of this notice or by emailing benefits.tg@gmail.com. Revocation does not affect actions we have already taken in reliance on a valid authorization.
Opt-Out Options and Mobile Information
You have the right to opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by:
- SMS: Replying "STOP" to any SMS message you receive from us. Email: Clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email you receive from us.
- Account Settings: Updating your preferences in your account settings on our website.
More on mobile information usage, collection, and privacy
- Our SMS program provides updates, notifications, and promotional messages related to our services. By subscribing to our SMS program, you consent to receive SMS messages at the phone number provided. Message frequency may vary based on your interaction with our service.
- We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Additionally, all the categories of personal data mentioned above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances. However, we may share your data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our SMS program, provided they agree to keep your data confidential and use it solely for the purpose of providing services on our behalf.
- You have the right to access, correct, verify, or remove your personal information at any time. To manage your information, please contact us at (785) 530-9781.
- Opt-Out Option: If you wish to opt-out of receiving SMS messages, you may do so at any time by replying "STOP" to any of our messages or by contacting us directly at (785) 530-9781. Opting out will not affect your other interactions with our services.
Email communications
If you provide your email address, we will send you transactional messages (such as application confirmations, renewal reminders, and responses to your inquiries) and may send periodic newsletters or educational content. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. Transactional and policy service emails are not subject to unsubscribe because they are part of the service you have requested.
Cookies and website tracking
tgbenefitsolutions.com does not set its own cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, behavioral profiling, or cross-site tracking.
Some content on the site is embedded from third parties, such as the Better Business Bureau accreditation seal in our footer and images served through a content delivery network. When your browser loads that embedded content, it makes a direct request to the third party, which may set cookies on its own domain under its own privacy policy. We do not control or have access to those cookies.
If we add a privacy-preserving analytics tool in the future, we will choose one that does not set cookies or build cross-site profiles, and we will note its use in this section.
How we protect your information
We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality and security of your nonpublic personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These safeguards include locked paper file storage at our Clay Center office, encryption of information transmitted over the internet, access controls on our business systems, and limits on access to staff and contractors who have a legitimate business need to know.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as you are our customer and for as long afterward as required by federal and state law, carrier contracts, and regulatory record retention rules. Insurance applications, policy documents, and supporting materials are typically retained for at least seven years after the policy ends. We continue to apply this Privacy Policy to information we hold about former customers.
Children's information
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except in connection with a parent or guardian enrolling a child as a dependent on a family insurance policy. If you believe we have collected information from a child in error, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Availability of this notice
The current version of this Privacy Policy is always available on this page. We do not mail or email periodic copies of the policy. If our practices change in a way that materially affects your rights, we will post the revised policy here with a new effective date and, where required by law, give you a clear opportunity to act on any new choices before the change takes effect. You may request a paper or electronic copy of the current notice at any time using the contact information at the end of this notice.
We do not sell your information
TG Benefit Solutions does not sell your personal information, including any sensitive personal information such as health-related information. We do not process your personal information for the purpose of targeted advertising. We do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
Your choices
You may, at any time:
- Ask us what categories of information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw or revoke any health information authorization you previously signed.
- Ask us to stop texting you. Tell us by phone, text, or email and we will remove your number from our contact list for text messages.
- Ask us to stop emailing you, or unsubscribe from any marketing email we send via the unsubscribe link in that email.
- Ask us to stop calling you by adding your number to our internal do-not-call list. We will keep that request on file for at least five years.
To exercise any of these choices, contact us using the information at the end of this notice. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable. Some requests may be limited by insurance laws that require us to retain certain records.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or changes in the law. We will post any revised policy on this page with a new effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will provide you with a revised notice and, if required by law, give you a chance to opt out before the change takes effect.
